KETCHIKAN, Alaska — A small black bear cub checked out the sites at a Ketchikan lodge this week.
The bear walked into Cape Fox
Lodge just after 11 a.m. Wednesday, went into the coffee shop, wandered
the lobby and visited the women's restroom. Employees ushered it out the
back door after about 10 minutes.
Dave Hayes with the lodge says that
at first, people thought it was just a big dog. Once they realized it
was a bear, tourists began snapping photos of it in the lobby.
Hayes says the bear wasn't aggressive, and it didn't even growl.
He says you'd think it was just a big pet
