Rambutan and lychee

I tried two new Asian fruits this week.  Both good.  I'd never heard of rambutan (top) before.  Left side shows peeled.

Spot Prawns - the sweetest tastiest shrimp I've ever had - and fresh!  Flash frozen at 30 below on the ship.

A group of Juneau-ites got together for Christmas Dinner and a white elephant gift exchange.  Since I was in town, they invited me to join them.. The theme of the dinner was Japanese food.  We had lots of courses ,and ate from 5:30 to 11 pm!  It was a fun time and the food was wonderful.  Merry (belated) Christmas everyone!
